Elizabeth (Liz) Cendan
The recipient of a bachelor of science degree from the University of Richmond, Dr. Elizabeth (“Liz”) Cendan earned her doctor of physical therapy (DPT) from Chatham University in 2006 and spent the past decade treating patients with a variety of disorders and conditions. While studying for her DPT, Dr. Elizabeth Cendan gained valuable experience as an intern with Human Motion Rehabilitation Center, ManorCare Rehabilitation, and UPMC Hospital.
In 2006, Dr. Elizabeth Cendan began working full-time as a physical therapist with Long Island, New York’s O’Connell, Selig & Associates and shortly thereafter joined the Cardiac Division of the Rusk Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine at NYU Langone Medical Center, where she treated patients with pulmonary and cardiac conditions and served as a clinical instructor to physical therapy students.
Dr. Liz Cendan has since served in the Rusk Institute’s Outpatient Services, Acute Care, and Women’s Health Divisions, the latter of which she worked in for the past six years with a focus on treating patients with breast, ovarian, and prostate cancer. Supplementing her professional pursuits, she has completed continuing education courses in pediatric pelvic dysfunction rehabilitation, breast cancer therapy, and EKG interpretation, among other topics.
